Greenwich police said the incident happened at about 1:15 p.m. Greenwich first responders were dispatched to Benjamin Street in Old Greenwich on a report of a massive tree falling and striking a man. Upon arrival Greenwich firefighters removed the male patient from underneath the large tree and Greenwich Emergency Medical Service paramedics began medical aid.
