We Wish Our Greenwich The Very Best And Look Forward To Seeing This Team Blog Project Grow And Prosper.

08/29/08 Joe Pisani .John Ferris Robben ,Joy Haenlein ,Sarah Darer Littman and Susie Costaregni. Are Headed To Court

Joe Pisani .John Ferris Robben ,Joy Haenlein ,Sarah Darer Littman and Susie Costaregni. attempt to steal Old Greenwich Roundup Name And Concept On Their New Team Blog.

It is actually very pathetic to see how uncreative the former Greenwich Time staffers are.

Joy Haenlein is calling her blog page Old Greenwich Roundup.

No wonder David Warner cleaned house and got rid of these amateurish and unimaginative third and forth rate plagiarizing columnists who were washed up has beens.

Each Roundup Media Site Is Tracked By Google Analytics, And We Believe That Joe Pisani .John Ferris Robben ,Joy Haenlein ,Sarah Darer Littman , Susie Costaregni And Their Associates Have Visited The Roundup Media Websites Multiple Times At Home And At Their Former Employers Computers.

Joe Pisani .John Ferris Robben ,Joy Haenlein ,Sarah Darer Littman , Susie Costaregni and their associates working together to steal the Old Greenwich Roundup Blog name and Concept After Visiting Roundup Media Websites Is Going To Cost Each Of Them A Hell Of A Lot More Than The $25,000 They Had Initially Talked Of Investing In A Website/Team Blog.

Just As They Can Not The Greenwich Time Name, They Can Not Use The Greenwich Roundup, Old Greenwich Roundup Without Paying A Very High Legal Cost And Personal Judgement.

Old Greenwich Roundup would remind Joe Pisani .John Ferris Robben ,Joy Haenlein ,Sarah Darer Littman , Susie Costaregni and their associstes that they are stealing this intelectual property as sole proprietors and not as members of a LLC or shareholders of a corporation or trust.

Old Greenwich Roundup and it's affiliated Roundup Media Websites demand that Joe Pisani .John Ferris Robben ,Joy Haenlein ,Sarah Darer Littman , Susie Costaregni and their associates immediately cease and disist the theft of the name Old Greenwich Roundup and other intellectual property associated with the name or be prepared to loose your personal assets.

The Old Greenwich Roundup website / blog was backed up tonight in order to preserve previous posting as evidence for a potential lawsuit against Joe Pisani .John Ferris Robben ,Joy Haenlein ,Sarah Darer Littman , Susie Costaregni and there associates at Our Greenwich.

All Google Analytic Reports were downloaded for all of the Roundup Media Websites / Blogs for use as evidence.

07/30/08 Collaboration between artists results in prize-winning print

NORWALK

Master Printer Tony Kirk, artistic director of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, and artist Donald Axleroad combined their talents to win first prize with the woodcut "Minatour Escapes the Labyrinth" in the print and graphic category in the recent "Shapes and Shadows" exhibition at the Flinn Gallery at the Greenwich Library.

The print was a collaboration between Axleroad, who created the woodcut, and Kirk, who produced the finished print. Sponsored by the Art Society of Old Greenwich, the competition was juried by Charles Ray, former director of the Silvermine School of Art.

"It was a challenging print to make, and Tony worked very hard on it," said Axleroad. "He persevered; he's a stickler for perfection." Known for his work inspired by Greek mythology, Axleroad has received dozens of awards. Recently, his "Minatour Escapes the Labyrinth" also won a prize in Drawing and Graphics at the Carriage Barn's Spectrum exhibition in New Canaan and the Members Show Award of Excellence in Any Medium from the Kent Art Association in Kent.

06/17/08 Meyers wins Class 1 at Newport Regatta

Anticipation ran high throughout the New York Yacht Club's 154th Annual Regatta presented by Rolex, in Newport over the wekend.

"Competitors, designers, journalists and spectators alike were anxious to see how the newest, hottest IRC boats measured up against one another in seven IRC classes," said Barby MacGowan, spokeswoman for the event. "Five other classes (one each J/105 and Farr 40 one-designs, one each for 12-Metre Modern and Classic Traditional, and one for Classics) stirred up their own excitement. A total of 110 boats competed.

"In the end, it was Dan Meyers' Numbers that took IRC Class 1, where most of the attention focused. The boat sails out of Newport. In that class were such show stoppers as the 99-foot super maxi Speedboat, owned by Alex Jackson of Old Greenwich, Conn. and skippered by Mike Sanderson of New Zealand, and Il Mostro/Puma Ocean Racing, skippered by Ken Read of Newport, which both suffered around the buoys, due to their size and optimization for straight-line speed, which will be better tested by next week's Newport to Bermuda Race. Numbers instead contended primarily with Hap Fauth's Belle Mente out of Newport, which trailed Numbers by seven points in overall standings after Numbers won the last three of that class's four races."

In IRC Class 3, Blair Brown's Sforzando out of Newport won overall, with Bermuda's Star class Olympian Peter Bromby serving as tactician. "Yesterday's winds were patchy," he said, after his boat had won the day. "You were either in it or you weren't."

In IRC Class 4, which was comprised entirely of NYYC Swan 42s, new owner Phil Lotz of New Canaan, Conn. aboard Arethusa, made his initial power play yesterday as well, winning two races before posting a 1-5 yesterday to seal the deal.

Kevin Grainger of Rye, N.Y. won the J/105 class with his Gumption3 after six races in his series.

The Great Corinthian Trophy, awarded to the yacht club team with the best score in the two-day series went to Annapolis Yacht Club, with team members Rush, Flying Jenny VI and Tsunami.

Complte results are available by clicking here.
