More than a mile of Route 1 - commonly known as the Post Road or East Putnam Avenue - in Greenwich will be milled and resurfaced as part of a project announced by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The project involves milling and resurfacing 1.14 miles of Route 1 from Indian Field Road in Cos Cob to the Stamford town line in Old Greenwich.
