The Kroger Company and Old Greenwich software company Advanced Marketing Systems LLC have settled a patent infringement lawsuit over the national grocery chain's digital coupon program. The company developed its digital coupons as an alternative to printed inserts containing individually coded coupons typically seen in Sunday newspapers.
